Women's Retreat

Spend some time in fun, fellowship, and growth with other women. Lois Flewelling (founder and President of Empowering Life Ministries in Houlton, Maine) will speak on the theme "Continuous Shine." The focus of the retreat will be on stepping up into the higher calling God has for women.
Registration begins at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The retreat ends at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. PLEASE NOTE: It is expected that teens will be accompanied by an adult registered for the retreat. Cost: $40

Continuous Shine
God is calling the body of Christ to come higher-higher in worship, higher in love and higher in their walk with Him. Together, we will unlock the mysteries of the Kingdom of God through hearing and applying The Word, interactive worship, and creative arts ministry. The primary focus of this retreat is to enable us to shine continuously in our daily walk with the Lord. God has called us ‘out of darkness into the light’. Christ said in John 12:46 “I have come as a light to shine in this dark world, so that all who put their trust in me will no longer remain in the darkness."

 

Lois Flewelling is the founder and president of Empowering Life Ministries, a counseling, equipping and training school.  She is a licensed clinical professional counselor with a masters in counseling, specializing in biblical-based therapy. Driven with a deep desire to fulfill God’s calling on her life, she pursues intimacy with Jesus Christ, recognizes His authority and power, and implements it into each aspect of her life.  Lois is a lifelong learner at heart, which enables her to take what she has learned and experienced and transform it into a powerful, spirit-filled, biblical truth message that motivates change.  Lois has been married for over thirty years, is a mother of three grown children, and is known as "Nana" to her grandchildren.
